The boys had a great time fishing with "Pa and Daddy" Saturday afternoon. Reagan caught a pretty big catfish, then squealed like a girl because he was scared of it. Rowan wanted to poke it with a stick. Anyway, it was funny. It was such a nice afternoon! I so enjoyed being at my parents old house and yard, where I have so many good memories.
Brad took the GRE yesterday morning, and passed! He actually did more than pass... he did really well on it. Super proud of my man! Hopefully, if he gets accepted, he will start the doctoral program next fall 2010.
As for me and school... I only have about 4 weeks left. I can't believe how fast the semester has gone by. Most likely, I will only be able to take one class next semester as well. A lot of the classes that I need aren't offered in the evening. I'm still not 100% certain about what degree I am pursuing. I already have 53 hours behind me...so I need to decide VERY soon. I have a hard time imagining that one day, both kids will be in school... and I will be doing something different than wiping bottoms and listening to cartoons. :)
Funny story (well, it is now... wasn't then.) As a rule, I try to grocery shop without the boys, but especially both boys at the same time. They antagonize each other, and get really rowdy. Well, I needed just a couple of things from Publix on Thursday.... so I decided to just run in really quick with both boys. NIGHTMARE! Rowan was in rare form and being extremely loud, and stressing me out completely. I got to the check out lane, placing my items on the conveyor... and pulled a Coke out from under the buggy... and some how managed to puncture a big hole in it. Yep... that's me.... the crazy lady with the out of control kids, wrestling an exploding 2 liter, unfortunately. Coke was spraying everywhere, including me. I got the stupid thing in the trash finally... tried to clean up.... forcefully placed my hand over my screaming 2 year old child's mouth, payed for my junk.... left the store humiliated, blood pressure through the roof... and once again, promised myself that I would NEVER again step foot into a grocery store with my kids... but especially the 2 year old. Arrrgghh!
